I'm a compatibilist about free will, and I don't think consciousness is an illusion. (The concept of an illusion presupposes qualia anyway.) I've written numerous articles on consciousness.

What philosophers call libertarian free will would be supernatural, and that's the kind I reject. Compatibilist free will is natural, limited self-control.
