If you're talking about me, my assessment is based on existentialism, and as Sartre said, existentialism is a humanism. We should empathize with everyone based on our understanding of our common predicament as people who've been thrown into the world. So that's the opposite of justifying murder. Even those who are existentially "inauthentic" have the potential to come to grips with our universal condition in life.

I argue also that all people are godlike, compared to animals.
