If Trump could somehow force Canada to join the US, Trump's Republicans would set the rules and shortchange Canadians every step of the way. So all of Canada would be one state with maybe one representative in Congress. Or maybe Alberta would be one state with five conservative representatives, and the rest of Canada would be one state with just one liberal representative. Something grossly unfair like that.
