I'd distinguish between femininity and masculinity, on the one hand, and their toxic versions on the other. It's one thing to appreciate the ways we're equal in our mental capacities and moral rights. It's another to ignore differences or to demonize the violation of mere political correctness.
Masculine values become toxic when psychopaths dominate the culture, as typically happened in patriarchal societies. But feminine values can become overbearing too, as in the case of the complacent, feminized Democrats who don't stand a chance against Republican malfeasance in the US.
Femininity and masculinity have their places, of course, but when either becomes totalitarian, we're in trouble. I talk more about my take on masculinity and femininity in the article below.
