I'd characterize it differently. The word "faith" is loaded with Christian connotations, and that religion is for the birds. If instead of faith we're talking about an existential struggle to find meaning in life outside or through science, I'd say that's trivially true since it's practically a definition of modern human life.

Probably the next article of mine to be coming out, early next week will address the question of whether there's a scientific form of dualism that leaves room for existential meaning.

I don't know if panthiesm is "the" answer, although I discuss this in other articles too (links below). Depending on what we mean by "pantheism," I'd say it's a piece of the puzzle. Certainly, in my view, it's more viable and respectable than monotheism.
