I'd agree that profane morality may emerge from those sociobiological foundations, but I think elite morality is based on an enlightened understanding of our existential conflict with impersonal nature. That awareness makes for a neo-shamanic source of creative values which isn't as easily dismissed as subjective. The aesthetic preference for artificial constructs to nature's wild ones falls out of scientific objectification, in which case certain aesthetic values may be universal (or at least based on higher-level understanding rather than simple pleasure or pain reactions).
