I'd agree that capitalism is a powerful economic system that we might be wise to harness, but that's not really what Peterson's saying. He's saying that the environmentalist's fears of capitalism are based on misunderstanding and on something like a totalitarian lust for power.
He's also saying that capitalism models the facts better than scientific models of climate, or that capitalism is more reliable than climate science. So if capitalist competition entails a demand for more business that pollutes the environment, that pollution can't be as harmful as climatologists say it is. We should trust capitalism more than the pseudoscientific climate models. That's what he's saying.
Your highly general comment doesn't quite engage with Peterson's article or with my response to it. I'm just observing as much. Of course, you're free to write what you like.
