I understand the revulsion for hypermasculine politics. I think it would take more than spiritual arguments to end that kind of amoral struggle for domination. We'd need at least two other things: a revolution of the mind or a massive existential awakening, and a tech-driven society of material abundance. We're closer to the latter than to the former. The rich and powerful northern hemisphere countries have the means to help the rest of the world and the impoverished classes, but we choose not to because most of us are still selfish and distracted.
