I understand that Hamas isn't trustworthy, and might exaggerate the death tolls or casualty reports to win the propaganda war. But I've written elsewhere on how Israel seems to be valuing Palestinian civilians less than they should, given the bombing of Gaza. That calculation that one dead Hamas soldier is worth dozens of dead civilians calls for an explanation, especially when the bombing will surely create more Hamas soldiers.
