I think you're saying that Marxists are more progressive than woke liberals. I think both are open to critiques. But I was thinking of social justice in a simpler sense, irrespective of the culture war. Marxists and "woke" progressives would agree about the need for social advances. The question is whether either approach becomes self-destructive, or indeed whether there's any long-term sustainable form of social progress.
