I think I did bring up the fact that according to naturalism, the universe evolved before the emergence of life on Earth. I suppose the nondualist is committed to saying that nature must be supported metaphysically not by the evolution of organisms, but by "consciousness" in the abstract. To me, that would look like theism, in that an element of a personal Creator would logically precede the natural order.
