I suppose it depends on how well you're equipped to survive on your own in the wild. If you're Joe Rogan, you can do just fine.
In animal species, there's enough genetic variation to naturally separate the sheep from the goats, as it were, the weak from the strong. That's why social divisions and dominance hierarchies tend to form, with the alphas and betas ruling over the runts.
Just as the Republicans represent mainly the richest one percent, in terms of their policies (regardless of their rhetoric), libertarians represent wannabe Joe Rogans, Tarzans, or Schwarzeneggers.
