I see it as a continuum between anti-modern/fundamentalist Christians and modernized/secularized ones. The more liberal and compromised the Christian, the more success she can have on secular platforms like Medium, of course. But the neutered religion will seem stale and incoherent. The purer forms of a religion have to be kept underground in modernity or they become monstrous, as in the Trrumpian cult.
