I said some of the energy from new atheism--the more masculine current--likely flowed into the intellectual dark web which overlaps with Trumpism. I'm aware that Trump panders to right-wing Christianity and is supported largely by evangelical Christians. I've written lots about it.
The new atheists who support Trump wouldn't be seculalr humanists. They'd be the conservative atheists and skeptics who branched off from new atheism after the Atheism Plus debacle. They'd be part of the more radical IDW. They might include, for example, some incels and other aggrieved parties who resent neoliberalism and PC culture.
I'm familiar with the gamut of Sam Harris's views. I read some of his books, I've watched many of his debates and interviews, and I've listened to some of his podcasts. I don't reject everything he says.
