I put out a couple of articles on Christian Pollution, and I agree with your criticism of that publication's predominant tone.

Tactically, it doesn't help for an atheist to fall into the stereotype of the angry atheist (propagated by American Cold War propaganda and perhaps by Madalyn Murray O’Hair).

Ethically, it doesn't make much sense to be aggressive towards Christians who are relatively innocent (unless they're bombing abortion clinics, taking money from gullible old people, or supporting QAnon and Trumpism, etc).

And philosophically, it doesn't make sense to commit the ad hominem fallacy. My articles against theism and Christianity are meant to be philosophical critiques. I don't call my opponents bad names, although I am blunt in stating the case for atheistic naturalism (and for dark existential pantheism).

In any case, I've been ambivalent about posting on that publication mainly because the juvenile insults and ranting seem counterproductive to me.

The problem is that there aren't many solid, popular atheistic publications on Medium, and that's mainly because most readers here, I take it, are liberal and therefore implicitly atheistic and secular-minded. There's no need to focus so much on the air we take for granted.
