I like hiking in nature too. Indeed, I recently wrote a poem about a deer I saw in a ravine. But there's a difference between a vacation spot and a home. It's easy to admire nature when we don't have to live there like animals, when we have society to which to return. As I say in one of these articles, we then admire nature from a position of safety, in the way we treat zoo animals with condescension.
