I haven't read her book but I'm familiar with her main argument. Crony capitalists take advantage of chaos and use natural disasters as opportunities to further deregulate the market. The government can do so too, as FDR did after the Great Depression, and as Obama failed to do after the recession of 2008. Biden may have the chance again with Covid.
