I hadn't heard of those texts, but I'll give them a look. I've written some other articles that contrast Western and Eastern Christianity, but I'm certainly no expert.

If only the Evangelical Christians were as humble and self-aware as you seem to be. Evidently, the problem is that a Christian can cherry pick parts of the Bible to justify any kind of lifestyle you can imagine.
