I don't know if those two options are mutually exclusive, especially since I'm speaking of Nietzschean superhumanity in a very limited sense. Trump may have amoral superpowers, but that doesn't mean he controls all his circumstances. I've argued elsewhere that the masses use Trump as much as he uses them. Everyone knows that Trump's narcissism has the downside (like Kryptonite) that he's uniquely susceptible to being manipulated with mere flattery.
