I don't know if I've said philosophers must be loners. I've spoken of a counterculture or marginalized class of meta-thinkers. But I'm also attracted to humanism and its transhumanist implications.

These two points aren't necessarily in conflict since different social classes might play different roles in supporting human progress. But indeed I often write about ironies and absurdities to help us see what's hiding in plain sight.
