I don't know for a fact that his influence is waning. He took some time off for health reasons, and he's joining forces with Ben Shapiro. Internet fame seems fleeting these days, so who knows? One other commenter suggested to me that he's no longer so fashionable. I suppose I'm just passing around the rumor.

"Fascism" has connotations that may or may not be applicable any longer. Peterson seems at least like an alt-right authoritarian or a superficially moderate apologist for some of the worst aspects of conservatism, including Trumpism, as I show in my next Peterson article.
