I don't claim to be giving a comprehensive explanation of the conflict here. This article zooms in on the roots of the Arab world's contribution to it, roots to which woke culture appears to be blind.
Do you deny there's virulent anti-Judaism in the Muslim world, a disgust with Jews that's based on political disagreements but that's been warped by theology and one-sided evaluations of recent Middle Eastern history?
And do you deny that Israel is a tiny superpower in the region, or that this might pose a challenge to Muslim pride?
Whether my explanation is politically incorrect doesn't bear on its strength or truth status.
And this is hardly my last word on the subject. I have at least three more articles on the conflict coming up, some of which will focus more on Israel's share of the blame.
By the way, no writer on Medium has taken a tougher stance on conservatism than I have. I deny that there exists such a thing as conservative thought. "Intellectual conservative" is an oxymoron. Carlson's populism is a joke and a smarmy act.
