I do think about them, though. Those kinds of connector phrases can keep the flow going. I agree, though, that clichés or prepackaged phrases in George Orwell's sense are generally bad. But I'm not writing poetry here. There's a balance to strike between being original and being readable, especially on a platform that competes on the internet with far more entertaining venues, such as YouTube, Instagram, or Pornhub. All I can say is that I try my best to think about every word I write, and to have a reason for it.
