I criticize one extreme form of platonism in the article linked below. I don't have a favourite platonist argument since I'm partial to Lee Smolin's deflationary view of math. But I'm hardly an expert on this, and when I did my Ph.D. I didn't specialize in the philosophy of science. I just worked in an analytic philosophy department which was strong in philosophy of science, and I share the aim of making philosophy broadly consistent with the scientific picture of nature.

Do you mean that space is digital rather than continuous? The question is above my paygrade. I don't think physicists are at all settled on how to interpret quantum mechanics. Does a quantized view of space take you to a simulationist theory of reality? Would the universe have to be a simulation in a computer to make sense of quantized space?
