I certainly think meat alternatives or lab-grown meat could be the solution, assuming it doesn't have a dire impact on our health, or a worse impact than real meat. Most people eat meat for the taste and for iron or some other health benefits, not for the glory of eating a dead animal since most people don't hunt for food. So the alternatives should be able to catch on. But it could be too little, too late. The oceans could bounce back faster than land animals. But I'm no expert on this stuff.
