I believe I was just pointing out that our connection to nature is tenuous. The question is whether the universe ought to be full of life. On the one hand, we evolved naturally, with no supernatural designer, but on the other we become anti-natural as we're attached to our egos and to our artificial domains. We're connected metaphysically to nature, but we also belong to an emergent, virtually supernatural (intelligently designed) world that might be unsustainable, namely civilization. So I was speculating that nature may have an inbuilt law against the ultimate fulfillment of life's yearning for its eternal preservation.
