I argue here that while science has nature as its final arbiter, philosophy has human nature and its relation to nature at large. It's just that the philosophical project of delving into that relationship is open-ended and normative or value-laden, so asking for progress there amounts to a category error

Yes, science has more popularizers than philosophy.

I suspect also that philosophy and the arts are more captured by the wokeness takeover of Western colleges.
