I agree that what I call absolute modernity has its downside, and that secular humanism may end up being self-destructive. I agree also that from nature's perspective, as it were, we must look more like cruel gods than like wise ones.

Still, that's an evaluation which doesn't change the fact that Christianity's core is anti-modern. You're just saying that Christianity's right to be so. But modernity has its upside, too.
