I agree that some transhuman scenarios may be dystopian. I'm not giving a comprehensive view of transhumanism here. I'm just saying trans people may be foreshadowing an uplifting transhuman future. Certainly, though, big tech companies are subject to criticism, and there's no guarantee the future will be progressive.
