I agree that atheism itself is a simple denial, but the question at issue in "Why Theism and Atheism are Both Laubhable" was what else atheists tend to believe. The question was about the content of the atheist's positive, naturalistic worldview, the one that replaces theistic religion. What's entailed by naturalistic cosmology? What's the source, for example, of so-called natural laws if there's no God?
