I agree it's possible that human progress might be a dead end, which is why I speak of it as being tragically heroic at best. I mean, our species will likely fail greatly at some point, and nature will overcome us.

But wokeness is lame fakery whereas transhumans would have to be tough-minded in basing their progress on scientific mastery of the wild. You can't fake your way through science and end up with transhuman control of nature.

Wokesters are decadent in taking progress for granted and flaunting their cheap signals of superiority while they contribute to consumerism which indeed threatens this progress because of its unsustainable shallowness. The hypocrisy here makes for fake, superficial progress.
