I agree completely that we shouldn't take what conservatives say about wokeness or liberalism seriously. All I can tell you is that I'm not a conservative. Nor am I a liberal or a progressive, though.

I try to take the best of what I find in various places and combine it in a coherent theoretical alternative. So some of my views overlap at some points with conservativism (the critique of modernity), while others overlap with liberalism, secular humanism, or socialism (the repudiation of social Darwinism, the celebration of technological and social progress, and affirming the preciousness of personhood in the existential context).

I tried to make this clear in the article: conservatives exaggerate the problem of left-wing decadence or "wokeness" to pursue their sordid agenda.
