Human creativity does indeed enable us to perpetrate a special kind of horror. The Luciferian or Promethean horror can seem like a precious wonder, too, as order struggles against the odds (including entropy) to maintain itself. It's a horror for everything that has to be sacrificed to feed that emergent order, but nature is used to destroying itself in its creative acts. The cosmic carnage that gave rise to the stability of solar systems is unimaginable in its Lovecraftian ferocity. That destructiveness is a testament to nature's mindless amorality.
