How would this interesting distinction between the absolute and the ideal relate specifically to this question of theism’s priming us to submit to the minority that has godlike wealth and power?

Presumably, the theistic God would be an ideal, so we think we have an obligation to submit to oligarchs, because we assume they’ve earned their wealth and they deserve to rule. They have the divine right of kings.

But how does the absolute fit in? Is the absolute in your sense supposed to be a false realization of the ideal, a return to equilibrium? I’m not sure where a confusion between the absolute and the ideal figures into this political question of effective theocracy.
