How do you get that from what I said? Wanting to be aggrandized is the opposite of my point about the desire to show gratitude and to give thanks. If anything, I'm saying we're frustrated that we can't aggrandize the source of our life, not that we deserve kudos. Whether our life matters to the cosmos or not, it matters to us, so we might wish we could show appreciation to its ultimate source, but doing so would be ludicrous because we came from nonlife.
