How could anyone show he or she had been forgiven and sanctified by God? Or how could you show you'd been filled with the Holy Spirit? If you feel good after repenting, how could anyone show, one way or the other, that that feeling is identical to a holy spirit? The notion of a "holy spirit" is vague to the point of being meaningless, so the concept isn't even clear enough to be tested.
