Good question. My answer is that those kinds of "Christianity" are Americanized and inauthentic. The will to power in those fake or superficial Christians stems from their libertarian or free-market social Darwinism, zeal for American superpower, and authoritarian "conservative" impulses. These causes have nothing to do with the Jesus of the gospels.
