Good point about new atheism, although new atheists were still tolerating fundamentalism since they only criticized it harshly. That's the liberal way. There was no violent atheistic revolt or demand for censorship. Mind you, wokeness amounts to lame efforts at censorship.

Also, that atheistic civility didn't work since Evangelical obnoxiousness has rebounded under Trumpism.
