GC feminism seems to be the idea that feminists should focus on sex differences rather than on gender because biological sex differences are real and important. Peterson would certainly agree with that assumption. If the argument were that the differences between men and women are important because they're real, that would be the conservative's classic naturalistic fallacy.

I've been pondering whether the recent debates about transsexuality are signs of concern about the prospects of transhumanism.

Of course, biological sex differences are real. What's also real is our technological capacity to subvert natural norms, a capacity that liberal modernists are supposed to deem progressive. The more we modify nature to suit our interests, the more godlike we become, and the freer we are to define ourselves.

In this context, transsexuals seem to stand for the promised transhuman freedom.
