Exactly. The anti-racism movement is certainly valid and not essentially cultish or divorced from reality. But something happened as early as 2015, when wokeness merged with MeToo and Black Lives Matter in opposition to the rise of Trumpism. The American Left became as cultish as the Tea Party and the MAGA crowd. The mystery is why exactly those dual transformations happened at roughly the same time.
