"Equivalence principle"? I'm not saying philosophy is equivalent to science. The fact-value dichotomy was understood in philosophy well before Harari, by the way. In fact, the early positivists understood this distinction, and they viewed questions of value to be noncognitive and therefore pointless.
I agree, though, that this is a dead horse--in philosophy. Unfortunately, that hasn't stopped the smug scientism in scientific circles. So these sorts of articles seem useful every now and again, to explain why this academic culture war persists.
