Clintonian triangulation and the corporatization of the DNC contributed to the radicalization of the Republicans, as I explain elsewhere. I'm not saying the Republicans are faultless for choosing Evangelical and Trumpian evil over pragmatism and good faith negotiations, but the Democrats aren't saints.

I don't hold the Democrats up to a higher standard. Rather, I castigate both sides from an external, existential vantage point, instead of glorifying the home team and demonizing the opponents in self-serving tribal fashion.
