Clearly, the postcolonial fashion now is for identity politics. Each tribe must have its moment in the sun. Universalism is a dubious metanarrative and it's anti-woke. The kids aren't having it.

From my Gen X, philosophical standpoint, of course, this tribalism looks pretty silly and narcissistic.
