By writing am I somehow depriving Peterson of his freedom to speak publicly, or am I depriving you of your freedom to decide what you want to read?
The question of those basic rights has nothing to do with whether my criticisms in the article demonstrate that Peterson disgraced himself by saying what he chose to say. So your comment here is a distraction. But of course you're free to distract as you like.
How much courage does it take, by the way, merely to express an opinion? Does it compare, for example, with the courage of being a policeman, firefighter, or soldier? Are we sure courage is the issue with Peterson?
