But you don't get to call the Bible "just one" love letter (from God), and a "historical document." Those are contradictory claims. Historically, the Bible is a library rather than a single text. Calling it a single book is just one of the Christian's many lies or demonstrations of abject ignorance of what he or she is supposed to care about the most.

Christians don't have any special "spirit of truth" inside them. They had the Roman Empire which they inherited, which corrupted them and turned the Jesus movement into a totalitarian theocracy that persecuted truth-seekers (Gnostics) to consolidate the Church's political power.
