Liberalism is supposedly anti-Christian (even though it's multicultural), so any anarchistic chaos agent like Trump that destroys modernity and basic liberal values is supposed to be pro-Christian.
To say that Trump isn't "perfect" or even "good" is quite an understatement. To think that liberalism represents a bigger challenge to Christianity than Trumpism is lunacy, although it starts to make sense when we realize that conservative American Christianity is itself patently anti-Jesus.
