Are you talking about conservatism? I don't respect it, and I've explained why in many articles, dealing with Edmund Burke, Joseph de Maistre, Carl Schmitt, Ayn Rand, George Will, Michael Oakeshott, Russell Kirk, Jordan Peterson, Tucker Carlsen, Ben Shapiro, Aleksandr Dugin, and others.

Anorexia would modify the body, but obviously not all modifications are healthy, productive, or even sane. Otherwise, we might just start randomly chopping off our limbs. Transhumanism is supposed to be progressive, so the point is to improve things, to liberate folks to pursue their happiness. If body modifications are destructive or counterproductive, they shouldn't be encouraged. Presumably, that should be decided on a case-by-base basis, although some extremes would obviously be improvements or detriments.
