And I'd be glad to read your comments on the articles in this series as they develop. I just finished writing the one on George Will, and I have one on Trumpism, another on Jordan Peterson, and another on the conservative's policy platform. Ben Shapiro is next, and then I'm onto the names on your list.

Indeed, the incompatibility of Christianity and libertarianism is egregious, but the fact is that Jesus's ethics were perverted shortly after his demise, with the gospels that whitewashed Rome's involvement in his death and in the destruction of Jerusalem. Christendom became wildly hypocritical and anti-Jesus as soon as it was adopted by Rome. A long line of monstrous Christian hypocrisies preceded the American variety.

The medieval idea of the Arthurian, egalitarian Round Table was more authentically Christian than the feudal society the Church presided over. But that idea was mostly a fantasy (with the stunning exception of the Cathars).
