A lot of irrelevant, specious assertions there. The fact that many scientists have been religious says nothing about whether the methods of science are compatible with the methods of religion. There's a difference between what we do in our private life, and what we do in our professional capacity.

Sure, there's politicization in the New Testament, such as the scapegoating of Jews so the early Christians could curry favor with Rome. How is that relevant to whether Christian faith should be blind?

Secular culture can indeed be cartoonish, too. So what? How is that not a red herring? Secularism is powered by science, which isn't blind.
